Hello!!! Good morning, afternoon, night, day, Christmas, Birthday. Wherever I find you in this moment when you found me—Welcome, friend. You came at the perfect time; we were just getting started!
Sit down, grab your journal, and let’s dive in.
I can’t believe we’re nearing the end of another year. Where does the time go? Days slip by, weeks blur together, and before you know it, it’s 2025, and we’re all just a little older (and maybe wiser?).
Lately, I’ve been craving a chance to slow down—not just to notice what’s happening around me but to check in with what’s happening within me, too. A little introspection never hurt anyone, right?
If you’ve been here a while, you might remember my “Sunday Somethings” series, where I shared what was on my mind, what I was reading, watching, and doing each week. It was such a joy to reflect and capture those moments and I hope you enjoyed them too.
But now, I want this space to be more than just my own musings—I want it to be something meaningful for you.
And that’s how “Mindful Mondays” came to be.
So, will you pause, take a beat, and reflect with me before we step into a hopeful, magical week ahead?
Pause & Reflect
How are you feeling right now? Acknowledge your energy without holding judgment or attachment towards yourself. How was last week? What went well and what could have gone better?
For me, I have been reflecting ALOT on myself. All of my limiting self-beliefs and bad habits that have been holding me back have been at the forefront of my mind. I keep emphasizing to my friends though that this is not a negative experience (at least not right now), but rather encouraging. I am feeling extremely inspired to match my actions with my highest self and I am gaining clarity on the steps I need to take to get there. So yes, while over-analyzing every aspect of myself IS tiring, I am leaning into it.
Themed Thoughts
In my Yoga teachings, I love incorporating a theme that has been prevalent to me and weaving it throughout class to bring new thoughts to my students. My goal is to mix my two passions this year: Writing & Yoga, so why not bring my weekly teachings here as well?
We are nearing the end of the year, and before everyone jumps ahead to New Year's resolutions, I encourage you to self-reflect on everything that you have already accomplished this year. What are you proud of yourself for growing through? What is something you have overcome or surprised yourself with? Where did you excel and where did you falter?
I am SO proud of myself for this year. Sure, things did not go as I planned but boy how grateful I am for everything. I pursued love in every aspect of my life, even if that meant leaving something that I loved, but did not love me back. I made and strengthened friendships, became closer with family, delved head first in my Yoga journey (which I have come so far through already in just one year), and chose myself for the first time ever. I am proud of my strength, grace, creativity, and trust in myself & the Universe. This year was not easy at any given point, but I conquered everything with confidence, and all by myself.
